Welcome to The Crossing Church! We’re excited that you’re here and would love the chance to meet you at our weekend gathering soon. We have one service on Sunday morning at 10 AM. We offer great children’s ministries and a high-energy worship opportunity that will help you truly connect with God. There’s a place here for everyone!
We Are The Crossing
We exist to take the whole gospel, to the whole person, to the whole world.
We Are The Crossing
We believe in the one true God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in the one true God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit revealed to us through the Word of God and through the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Lord.We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, were given to us completely by God’s inspiration, and contain all truth necessary for faith and Christian living.
- We believe that mankind is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil.
- We believe that those who finally reject God are hopelessly and eternally lost.
- We believe that salvation through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is forgiven and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
- We believe that believers are to be set apart to live a holy life and serve God, following their conversion, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit gives assurance that we have been saved and set apart to live a holy life and serve God.
- We believe that Jesus will return to Earth, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
We Are The Crossing
Our vision is very simple and drives everything we do. We exist to take the whole gospel, to the whole person, to the whole world.
Our values are what drive us towards accomplishing our vision:
- God’s Word
- Generosity
- Missions / Serving
- Diversity
- Relationships
- Discipleship
Karl has been the lead pastor of the Crossing since 2008. He models a commitment to preach the Word, and encourages the Church to be doers of the Word and not just hearers. His passion is to see “Christ formed” in all who call the Crossing home. Karl is often involved in ministry internationally and invites others to see themselves as integral in Great Commission work.
Karl lives in Buford with his wife of 34 years, Lisa. Karl and Lisa have two grown children and three grandchildren.

Her focus in leading the Children’s Ministry team is to ensure the kids that take part in Sunday service have an opportunity to feel God’s almighty love and learn about the most precious guide we have to our faith, the Bible.
Her husband, daughter, and son have made The Crossing family part of their own. They currently reside in Hoschton.
